What is a credit card?

Credit Card is also called as plastic or plastic money. It can be further defined as plastic card that has an account number assigned to the credit card bearer with a specific credit limit. The credit limit is decided upon the monthly income of the applicant.This card when issued can be used to purchase goods and services and to obtain cash payments on credit.

The end of the specified number of days, the cardholder is billed by the card companyfor repayment of the credit extended at once or on an installment basis.One of the most important benefits of using a credit card is that you don’t have to carry cash with you. Credit Cards are accepted in almost all businesses around the world. Another important benefit of using a credit card is that you have money for instant shopping.

Just imagine your dream dress is being displayed on sale and you don’t have enough bucks in your pocket to buy that dress.With the use of credit card you can not only buy that dress but also get time to repay that amount.Although there are benefits of using a credit card, one should make sure we are using our credit card when it is really important otherwise you will end up spending more than what you wanted to and it will affect your monthly budget.
